Job Description

Commercial Card Sales Manager

The Manager Commercial Card Sales leads a team of Commercial Card Sales Officers responsible for generating new commercial card programs, expanding existing ones, and managing the portfolio. This includes strategic and tactical sales planning. The team represents the voice of the customer in product development and reviews, and administers corporate policies and pricing approvals.

Position Responsibilities:

Administration:

  • Manage sales reporting, pipeline, and expense reports.
  • Complete performance plans and reviews for team members.

Audit & Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and policies.
  • Complete necessary compliance training.
  • Achieve satisfactory audit ratings.

Portfolio Management & Customer Retention:

  • Implement sales action plans to meet team goals.
  • Conduct sales meetings on prospecting and pipeline development.
  • Build relationships with Relationship Managers and top-tier customers.
  • Present annual Treasury Relationship Reviews.
  • Ensure documentation and contracts are accurate and complete.

Revenue Generation:

  • Achieve national sales goals.
  • Coach and support team to reach revenue targets.
  • Negotiate pricing and participate in strategy discussions.
  • Develop team members to meet revenue goals.
  • Create proposals and respond to RFPs.

Team Development/Management:

  • Lead and direct team work.
  • Recruit, develop, and assist employees aligned with company strategy.
  • Provide training, coaching, and address performance issues.
  • Participate in joint calls and promote industry participation.
  • Monitor performance and coach team members.
  • Stay informed about industry trends.

Other:

  • Foster collaboration across divisions.
  • Provide input on product features and future plans.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 7 years in relevant sales areas.
  • 2 years of management experience preferred.
  • CTP certification preferred.

Additional Details:

Work schedule varies between 2-5 days in the office, hours are 8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday to Friday.

Salary range for California: $135,700 - $255,300 annually, subject to change based on various factors.
