Scopes Landscape seeks an experienced, detail-oriented Fleet and Equipment Manager to oversee the maintenance, acquisition, tracking, and compliance of all company vehicles, trailers, and landscape equipment. The ideal candidate will ensure our fleet and tools operate safely, efficiently, and cost-effectively while supporting field operations to deliver timely and quality service to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Fleet Management

• Oversee the maintenance, repair, registration, and inspection of all company vehicles and trailers.
• Maintain detailed records of vehicle usage, service history, fuel consumption, and compliance with DOT and local regulations.
• Schedule preventative maintenance and coordinate with service providers to minimize downtime.
• Manage vehicle replacement plans and assist in procurement of new fleet assets.
• Ensure proper licensing, insurance, and documentation for all vehicles.

Equipment Management

• Track inventory and condition of all small and large landscape equipment (e.g., mowers, blowers, trimmers, skid steers).
• Develop and implement maintenance schedules and inspection protocols for all equipment.
• Coordinate repairs and warranty claims with vendors or in-house mechanics.
• Monitor usage and recommend equipment upgrades or replacements as needed.

Operational Support

• Train field staff on proper use, maintenance, and safety procedures for equipment and vehicles.
