As a member of the Global SEO (Search Engine Optimization) Team, you'll be at the forefront of increasing organic search visibility and improving performance for our portfolio of products including Azure, GitHub, Microsoft Copilot, Microsoft 365, Windows 365, and Microsoft Security. We seek an SEO strategist with impactful analytical skills to join our new SEO Solutions team. You will deliver reporting, presentations, tools, dashboards, operational processes, and whitepapers to internal leaders and departments. Your colleagues will include full-time employees, contractors, and an outsourced agency working together to analyze data about our global customers and competitors. In this role, you will collaborate with stakeholders and leaders to develop strategies for SEO research projects aligned with business priorities. You may present findings on competitors’ SEO tactics or develop requirements for Power BI dashboards integrating global search volumes with other data sources. You will help define key metrics and reporting cadences for leadership. This position offers opportunities to deepen your SEO knowledge, work with large-scale websites, and develop leadership skills through training others. Responsibilities Help define the SEO data strategy, reporting routines, metrics, and data sources for all marketing lines of business and customer solutions. Oversee research projects on search engine algorithms, customer behavior, competitor tactics, market trends, and Microsoft’s performance. Monitor SEO trends and algorithm updates to keep strategies competitive. Manage marketing program execution planning and develop program recommendations, addressing inefficiencies and collaborating with Product Marketing to support business objectives. Analyze KPIs, share insights to drive business impact, and recommend actions to leadership based on data. Lead medium complexity projects with detailed planning and manage project budgets, developing communication plans for progress and learnings. Embody our culture and values ( ) and ( ). Qualifications Required/Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Data Science, IT, Market Research, Statistics, Economics, Public Relations, or related field AND 3+ years experience in integrated marketing, event management, marketing strategy, business planning, or related work OR equivalent experience. 2+ years experience in SEO. Preferred Qualifications Master's Degree in relevant fields AND 2+ years in integrated marketing or related experience OR Bachelor's Degree in relevant fields AND 5+ years in integrated marketing or related experience OR Equivalent experience.
